In fact he built his business based on his reputation of always doing what was right and putting his clients needs and goals first. This is what he believes led him to his success within the Real Estate Finance Industry.
From his engineering background at Cal Poly, he took with him exceptional computer skills allowing him to communicate ideas and concepts to his clients that are unmatched in this field. David generally will present to his clients utilizing Power Point presentations along with Excel Spreadsheets to help his clients understand the "big picture" in conjunction with the industry's leading mortgage specific software.
In addition to helping his clients, he also focuses on helping his referral partners with various aspects from marketing design, flier design, data base management, and time management to name a few. He opens his doors to helping his existing referral partners (and future partners) increase business and profit with his vast resources.
David strongly believes that education is key, and he spends a majority of time learning of new concepts to share with his staff and referral partners. He constantly is looking to improve himself and his team, so he is constantly out of town at conferences and trainings. Upon his return he typically will have many new ideas and materials to share.
David was fortunate to have been in the business since 2001 and to have been surrounded by the best people in the business. After his mentor Dennis DeClark passed in early 2004, he decided it was time to take what he had learned and put his twist on things. In late 2004, David created Arrona, Inc. and a year later he opened Arrona Financial (Real Estate Lending) in downtown San Luis Obispo. He built his business on relationships and referrals and continues to grow both.
David continues to live in San Luis Obispo, enjoys mountain biking, flying, auto racing, snow sports and the outdoors in general.
David has earned his CMPS (Certified Mortgage Planner Specialist) designation as well as CMA (Certified Mortgage Advisor).
He is proud to serve on the French Hospital Foundation Board and is a friend to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, San Luis Obispo Symphony, MS National Society and American Heart Association.
