We prefer you fill out the “Long Loan Application” if you are wanting to move forward efficiently. It really isn’t too long and you do not need to fill in all sections. Simply fill in as much as you can. We can follow up with any areas not filled in or incomplete. This will enable us to process your mortgage application in a more timely manner.
If you prefer to give us your basic information without too many details, fill out the Short Loan Application. This will give us just enough information to give you an idea of what type of mortgage you may be able to qualify for. Your mortgage pre-qualification will not be as strong as if you were to submit a Long Loan Application as the information is not as complete. Since mortgage guidelines have become more stringent, knowing as many details upfront can aid in the smooth closing of your mortgage and avoid any last minute surprises. There are many caveats with each loan product, so it is best to know as much as possible to we can successfully fund your loan.
